Aki is the founder of two startups in Singapore: Bambu in Fintech, and Healthzilla in Healthtech. The common thread in his companies and interests is intelligent automation through applied data. Aki holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Aalto University in Finland and writes frequently on Medium about startups, philosophy, and technology.

Alban Salord / Head Business Financial Crime Risk @HSBC
Alban’s career spans more than 20 years during which he moved from academia (law), to international contract negotiation, to risk management in the banking industry. He moved to banking and Asia over 12 years ago after studying and working in France, the United Kingdom and Australia. His banking career focused mostly on compliance and fighting financial crime within large banks, both in the second and in the first line of defence. In his current role, he heads the Business Financial Crime Team for Asia Pacific RBWM at HSBC, and has developed a keen interest in the use of new technologies to support better anti-financial crime controls. He is passionate about building teams and people and spends a significant amount of his time coaching and mentoring, including with children at risk in Singapore.

Carina Zuber @Investment Navigator
Carina is an international banking expert with lots of experience in intercultural team work, as she has worked, studied and lived in more than six countries, across three continents, and with more than 25 nationalities in the past 20 years. She left banking to join Investment Navigator as Regional Managing Director last year. Investment Navigator is a Swiss WealthTech company with clients like UBS, DB, or LGT. Carina builds the Asian business from scratch for this boutique Software-as-a-Service provider.
Furthermore, Carina holds an MBA from Singapore Management University and IE Business School and was honored by the Beta Gamma Sigma Association for her top academic achievements. Her colleagues awarded her also with the “Best Mama/Papa Award”.
Luca Burlando / Manager @BV Ventures
Luca is a Manager at BVV, supporting companies in creating the future they envision. Passionate about how technology is used to change the status quo, Luca is an enthusiast at heart and a pragmatist by trade, looking at how innovations bring positive change to customers around the world. With a background in traditional finance (sell and buy-side) he branched out into the technology sector operating as COO of a tech startup in Europe. Luca has been in Asia since 2015, and an active promoter of the innovation coming out of this part of the world.

At Xfers Aymeric is leading StraitsX, the stablecoin initiative for Southeast Asia. Aymeric obtained his MBA from INSEAD in Singapore and has 8+ years of experience in Strategy and Operations in the financial sector in Asia.

An academic turned entrepreneur, Kasun has published over 10 scientific papers with 100+ citations during his academic career across Asia, Middle East and Europe. Lastly, he started his own FinTech firm PinAlpha Pte Ltd and also won the Golden Ticket at first F10 hackathon in Singapore. At PinAlpha he managed to win contracts from world’s leading financial institutions.

Vidit Agrawal / Partnerships Lead SEA & India @Stripe
Vidit is an active angel investor in the region and an advisor to startups like Scooterson Inc (US), Shoclients (India) and MVL Chain.IO (Singapore). Before this, Vidit was the COO of Carro, a series A startup focused on second-hand car marketplace. He ran the operations for the business in Singapore and the International markets and focuses and expansion.
Vidit Agrawal also holds the distinction of being Uber’s first employee in Asia. He went on to become Head of Strategic Vehicle Partnerships, APAC. He was in charge of spearheading the vehicle partnerships of Uber in the region and was responsible for the growth of the business. He had filled multiple roles at Uber in the past including Strategic Finance Manager, Operations Head for Singapore, Strategic Finance for India and Business Launcher across the region.
Prior to Uber, he worked for UBS in Singapore and at multiple start-ups in Singapore and Silicon Valley.

Scott Krivokopich / Partner @1982
Scott co-founded the FinTech VC 1982 in 2019. Previously, Scott was on the investments team at tryb. Prior to joining tryb in December 2016, Scott worked as Director and Office Head leading the corporate finance and CFO services practice of Moore Stephens in Shanghai. At Moore Stephens, Scott worked closely with EU- and US-based boards and financial sponsors to manage financial operations for their investments in Asia, providing investment planning, restructuring and financial due diligence, while serving as regional finance head for 22 companies.

A citizen of the world, Veronika has lived in 8 countries so far, and feels most at home in places where she can use technology to make everything in life simpler (hence why she now lives in Singapore). She started her career in Finance in the midst of the Global Financial Crisis in London, so it’s been a great rollercoaster ride. She spent 8 years at HSBC on various global projects, from formulating the Digital Strategy for their Private Bank to launching their first stand-alone investing mobile app in Hong Kong.
She also ran a dedicated FinTech Accelerator program called SuperCharger, where she helped startups find new Product-Market fit, partner with large corporates, raise Venture Capital funding and scale their businesses across Asia. Her passion is around helping people develop and improve their financial literacy, adapt to the digital age of managing their finances through savings and investments, and in that way take control of their life plans and their future. She is now in the process of building a new Wealth Management Platform for the local unicorn company Grab as part of their SuperApp strategy and Digital Banking ambitions.
